Haitian Orphans are Happily Settled into their Homes
We are so happy that Fekens, Stanley and Kensly, the three remaining children who were brought to Holy Family after the devastating Haitian earthquake in 2010, have been doing wonderfully since their adoptions were finalized this past March.
The Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, a Chinese nonprofit that works internationally and has many volunteers in Haiti, recently did a follow-up story on the Haitian children who were adopted and living in Pittsburgh. Check out this wonderful video for an update on how the lives of these children have changed and how they have settled into their new homes and families. The video is approximately 25 minutes in length, but Stanley, Kensly and Fekens’ story is featured around minutes 10-18 in the video. Enjoy!
