Helping children cope with violence
As an organization that focuses on helping children and families, we are so deeply saddened by the recent tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Too often we see firsthand the effects that violence and trauma have on the youngest and most vulnerable members of our society. Our thoughts, prayers and hope for healing go out to the families and friends of the victims. May God bless the caring volunteers and professionals as they work tirelessly to help the survivors come to terms with this terrible tragedy.
