Reports to: Director of Unified Services
Hours: Full-time, exempt position.
Schedule must be flexible with weekends and nights to meet the client
needs.
General Statement of Duties: The Trauma
Specialist/Therapist will appropriately screen children regarding the impact of
trauma using accepted evidence supported measures such as the ICAST, CANS, PTSD
child checklist etc. He/She must be able to identify with the interagency team
appropriate treatment goals and attainable benchmarks for children to reach in
a reasonable time period to address and mitigate
against the effects of trauma.
Essential Functions:
Minimum
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in a clinical related field Social Work,
Education and |Psychology etc) with valid PA licensure (LPC, LSW, etc.). Minimum of four years experience with trauma
informed care models (Sanctuary Model, TF-CBT, etc.) and
supervision. Strong oral and written
communication skills. Strong
organizational skills. Strong training
skills and experience to support and develop programming in concert with
director.
