General Statement of Duties: The Student Intervention Specialist is responsible
for monitoring student behavior and using appropriate behavior techniques with
students.
Essential Functions:

Promotes the

Manages crisis situations through
utilization of skills learned in agency-approved training.
3.
Demonstrates appropriate behavior
management techniques when dealing with students.
4.
Maintains professionalism in the
execution of the job responsibilities.
5.
Provide growth-producing environment
for residents, clients and families.
6.
Provides appropriate discipline.
7.
Monitors all logs and written records.
8.
Maintains a positive working
relationship with parents and fellow staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
Candidate
must have a high school diploma with good verbal and written skills. Valid Driver’s license, current Act 33/34 and
FBI clearances are required. Additionally, candidate must be physically capable
of managing client behavior. EOE
