Program Supervisor
Division: Holy
Family Social Services
Reports to: Director of Residential and Unified Services
Hours: Full-Time, 40
hours/week with the possibility of variable shifts daily. Requires
flexibility in scheduling, as the position is based upon needs of the clients
and residential staff.
General Statement of Duties: The
Residential Program Supervisor provides leadership through the performance of
administrative and supervisory responsibilities required for positive staff
development, client care, and the effective operation of the residential units.
Essential Functions:
- Promote
the Mission
and Philosophy of Holy Family Institute.
- Facilitate
program objectives, and displaying leadership while implementing team
objectives; i.e., Sanctuary Model and HART model.
- Display
leadership in staff orientation, treatment team meetings, and residential
training modules.
- Promote
positive team development through modeling effective communication, and
cooperative planning.
- Provide
constructive oral and written feedback to the residential team in a timely
manner.
- Handle
staff grievances and/or disciplinary action with professionalism.
- Implements
conflict resolutions skills, crisis management techniques, and supportive
action toward direct care staff and clients.
- Manage
human and financial resources, equipment and supplies pertaining to the
residential units.
- Monitor
team quality assurance through documentation and implementation of program
goals.
- Interview,
hire, and provide scheduling of qualified staff within residential units.
- Provide
quality staff development training to work effectively with clients.
- Assists
residents with personal hygiene and other activities of daily living
through modeling, coaching and structuring activities.
- Assist
in maintaining a pleasant, safe, trauma sensitive living environment for
residents.
- Oversee
staff schedule and efficient management of payroll within the residential
department.
- Maintain
client confidentiality.
Candidate must possess a
Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred) in the human service field and
have a minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience. Residential program experience a plus. Must be highly effective in child and adolescent behavior.
Candidate must have a valid PA driver’s license. Act 33/34 and FBI clearances
are required. EOE
